I didn't get a chance to welcome you back. There was so much going on.

It is good to see you, though.

I died here in April. And I was attacked during last year's "game". So I get it. I know you've got other people, but if you need anything, I can be there, okay?

Though I have been wondering if I should expect any side effects? From what I've read, this process of [ ... ] resurrection doesn't necessarily end with the restoration of life. So far I seem to be quite unscathed. Besides the obvious.

That's a relief.

Usually, you'll have side effects, but I think some of the people who died in the games last year were spared from it. Not all of them, though. Unfortunately, you just have to wait and see.

Mine take the form of really vivid, really painful hallucinations. Others see ghosts, or sleepwalk, or relive their deaths.

Are you well? I understand you had some difficulties during the voting. [ The relationship drama of it all. ]

No news will be good news. If you can make it a month without any awful side effects, you're probably clear.

I'm alright. As well as I can be, given everything. I'm trying to put some people and feelings behind me, focus on what's important. Like supporting the victims and finding a way out of here.

Rather a lot of responsibility for one person.

Maybe it seemed that way during all the shouting, but there's more people trying to help than just me. I'd welcome yours, when you're feeling up to it.

Of course, though I'm not sure what, if anything, I can offer. A cup of tea, if that would help.

Well, I can certainly provide that, and gladly.

I'm picky about tea, though. I had to drink a lot of it last year to soothe my throat after I got strangled during the game. It kind of turned me off.
